Critters in the sky

Cambodia is known for its critters of all sorts. Lizards scurrying up restaurant walls, spiders in the hotel room as well as the serving plate, and those critters that fly. This great nation has a lot and lots of bats, and not merely those kinds of bats that people find camping out in their attic or the kind they may see chasing down fireflies in the setting light at dusk, but bats of a much larger breed. Cambodia is home to the largest type of bat in the world... so damn large and furry it is called the flying fox. Bats of such girth have no need to hide, nor do they feel the need to maintain any type of routine schedule. When you are a bat this big you hang out in the open in broad daylight and do as you damn well please.
